Rave Review

Sprint / Summer 25 RUNWAY , Milan

Internship

2024 Stockholm

During my internship at Rave Review, I was involved in both the creative and technical sides of the collection development process. My work included modifying runway samples after the shows to prepare them for production, adjusting hand-drawn patterns according to fitting feedback, and ensuring that garments were suitable for manufacturing.

I assisted in creating and updating tech packs for external factories, making sure that all construction details, fabrics, and measurements were clearly communicated. In addition, I tracked fabric consumption, organized material inventories, and prepared material lists used for production planning and budgeting. This gave me a deeper understanding of the economic and logistical side of running a small fashion brand.

As the team underwent internal changes, I took on more responsibility in the atelier, working closely on new collection development. I worked on shape-intensive garments, created patterns, draped fabrics based on sketches, and helped translate design ideas into finished samples. Alongside the creative work, I also contributed to building a digital library of technical drawings and fabric references, which allowed the team to organize styles more efficiently across seasons.

Part of my role also included benchmark research on competing brands within the same price and quality range. This involved collecting data on comparable styles, production costs, and pricing strategies, which was used to calculate margins and support decision-making for future collections.

Through this experience, I gained insight into how a small independent fashion brand balances creativity, production, and commercial strategy, working across both design development and the operational side of the business.
